Because native follower lists are not strictly chronological, the only reliable way to discover recent followers is through baseline snapshot comparison:
- Scan 1 (Baseline): FolScan scans the target profile (your account, any public account, or a private account you follow) to capture its current set of followers.
- Scan 2 (Later Point in Time): FolScan scans the profile again and compares the new set against your baseline.
- New Followers Result: Any user present in Scan 2 but missing from Scan 1 is identified as a new follower added between those two scan times.
