Will this get my account banned?
FolScan works through your existing Instagram browser session rather than asking for your password or logging into your account from a remote server. Analysis is processed progressively with controlled delays designed to reduce account risk. FolScan is not affiliated with Instagram, and no third-party tool can guarantee that Instagram will never change its systems, limits, or policies.
Why aren't follower and following changes shown in exact chronological order?
Instagram no longer provides Followers and Following information in chronological order. This means FolScan cannot determine the exact order in which individual follows or unfollows happened, because that chronological information is no longer included in the data Instagram provides.
FolScan works around this limitation as much as possible by checking for missing or duplicate profiles, performing additional checks when needed, and comparing completed scans to identify changes. FolScan can therefore still identify who appeared or disappeared between scans, even though Instagram does not provide those profiles in the order the changes actually happened. If you had scans recorded before 9 September, FolScan retains that previously captured chronological history.
As a result, FolScan's New Followers, Lost Followers, New Followings and Unfollowed reports show changes detected between scans, rather than an exact chronological timeline of events. Scanning regularly makes these time windows smaller and gives you a more precise picture of when changes occurred.
Do you store my password?
Never. FolScan never asks for your password. It works by utilizing the login you already have active in your Chrome browser. This "Zero-Password" approach is why FolScan is much safer than traditional tracker apps.
Can I scan private accounts?
With Premium Pro or Free mode (one complete scan), you can scan any public account or any private account that you already follow. For regular Premium users, scanning is limited to your own account.
How does the Block Check feature work?
The Block Check tool automatically verifies if a user has blocked your account. Note that if a profile cannot be found, it may not always be a block—the user might have simply deleted or deactivated their account, or changed their username.
How many devices can I use?
Each license is valid for one person and can be activated on up to 5 different devices (e.g., your home PC, work laptop, etc.).
How long do scans take?
Scan time depends on the total number of followers and following. For small accounts (a few hundred profiles), it takes a few seconds to a minute. For medium accounts (~2,500 profiles), scanning typically takes 20 to 40 minutes. For larger accounts (5,000+), it can take longer. We intentionally include randomized safety breaks between requests to keep your account safe from rate limits.
What do the Growth Analytics graphs show?
The Growth Analytics feature provides a visual timeline of your account's evolution. It tracks 11 different data points—including total followers, following, new followers, and lost followers—allowing you to see trends over days, weeks, or months on an interactive line graph.
What is included in the Detailed Analysis?
The Detailed Analysis goes beyond basic counts. It generates reports for New Followers, Lost Followers, Unfollowed (people you unfollowed), and even Username Changes. This helps you understand exactly who is interacting with your account and how your network is shifting.

Interaction History (exclusive to Premium Pro users) allows you to compare any two Instagram profiles to discover cross-interactions (likes) between their recent posts and reels. FolScan independently scans both the Profile Grid and Reels Grid in a dedicated tab with a visual overlay to build a combined, deduplicated interaction map safely and locally in your browser.
How do the Follow/Unfollow and Bulk Queue features work?
FolScan allows you to follow or unfollow users directly from your growth reports.
Singular Actions: When you click 'Follow' or 'Unfollow' on a single row, FolScan silently opens a temporary, inactive tab in the background, performs the action securely on Instagram, and closes the tab automatically without interrupting your active browsing session.
Bulk Actions Queue: Select multiple accounts across sections and process them sequentially. FolScan runs safe, randomized delays between each action to protect your account, displaying a live progress panel, and playing a completion chime when finished.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
If you cancel, you will keep your Premium access until the end of your current 30-day billing cycle. No further charges will be made.
