Will this get my account banned?
FolScan works through your existing Instagram browser session rather than asking for your password or logging into your account from a remote server. Analysis is processed progressively with controlled delays designed to reduce account risk. FolScan is not affiliated with Instagram, and no third-party tool can guarantee that Instagram will never change its systems, limits, or policies.
Why aren't follower and following changes shown in exact chronological order?
Instagram no longer provides Followers and Following information in chronological order. This means FolScan cannot determine the exact order in which individual follows or unfollows happened, because that chronological information is no longer included in the data Instagram provides.
FolScan works around this limitation as much as possible by checking for missing or duplicate profiles, performing additional checks when needed, and comparing completed scans to identify changes. FolScan can therefore still identify who appeared or disappeared between scans, even though Instagram does not provide those profiles in the order the changes actually happened. If you had scans recorded before 9 September, FolScan retains that previously captured chronological history.
As a result, FolScan's New Followers, Lost Followers, New Followings and Unfollowed reports show changes detected between scans, rather than an exact chronological timeline of events. Scanning regularly makes these time windows smaller and gives you a more precise picture of when changes occurred.
Why is the number of scanned accounts sometimes different from the displayed count?
Instagram's displayed follower/following count can sometimes be higher than the number of accounts that are actually visible in its listings. This can happen when some accounts are disabled, restricted, suspended, deactivated, or otherwise unavailable in the listing at the time of the scan.
These accounts may still be included in Instagram's total count, while not appearing as individual accounts that FolScan can retrieve and analyze.
Because FolScan can only analyze accounts that are actually available in the accessible listings, the scanned amount may therefore be lower than Instagram's displayed authoritative count. This is a limitation of the data Instagram makes available at the time of the scan, rather than necessarily an indication that FolScan missed those accounts.
Do you store my password?
Never. FolScan never asks for your password. It works by utilizing the login you already have active in your Chrome browser. This "Zero-Password" approach is why FolScan is much safer than traditional tracker apps.
How does FolScan detect unfollowers?
FolScan compares your follower lists over time. Your first scan establishes a baseline, and subsequent scans compare your current list against that baseline to identify exactly who unfollowed you or changed their username.
Where is my follower data stored?
All your follower lists, scan history, and relationship analytics remain stored locally inside your web browser. FolScan does not store your social graph on remote cloud databases. Anonymous scan performance diagnostics (timing and speed settings) may be shared if diagnostic sharing is enabled.
Can I use FolScan for free?
Yes! FolScan Free allows you to perform one complete full-account scan to create your baseline.
What does Premium unlock?

Premium Pro includes everything in Premium plus Interaction History (cross-profile likes analysis between any two profiles), scanning of private accounts you follow, and priority support.
Can I scan private accounts?
With Premium Pro or Free mode (one complete scan), you can scan any public account or any private account that you already follow. For regular Premium users, scanning is limited to your own account.
